ICDD (stand DD53) uses its expertise to help the cosmetic industry, from ingredient developers to final formulators, substantiate their commercial claims. The company offers tests to demonstrate anti-aging, anti-oxidant, photo protective (IR, UV, and heat effect), and energizing claims. In 2016 ICDD expanded its catalog with three new models: one based on mitophagy to expand on anti-aging claims and two based on pollutant induced mitochondrial dysfunction (in young and mature skin) to substantiate protection from pollution claims.


This year, ICDD has launched a new package of tests to help cosmetic companies screen and position their active ingredients. With this package they can identify ingredients with anti-aging, photo-protection, anti-oxidation and/or modulation of cellular bioenergetics claims.
